If you have never tried winter backpacking before, this is a great opportunity to learn for yourself how much fun getting outside can be in the winter months.
Our winter backpacking offerings have cooperative and uncooperative weather. We guide winter backpacking courses in northern New Mexico – there may be snow, in which case you will hike with snowshoes in winter temperatures. There may not be snow, in which case you will hike in boots and winter temperatures. We are unable make promises, or predictions of weather conditions.
We tailor each winter backpacking adventure to meet your fitness level and experience.
